In this sermon, Francis Chan encourages us to re-examine how we view those around us. As a Christian, we are taught to place others above ourselves, but how many of us do that in our day to day lives? Chan uses this sermon as a way to call people up into the men and women of God that they are called to be. Supporting his words with Scripture, Chan uses key passages in the Bible to thoroughly support one of the most fundamental teachings of Christianity: place others before yourself. It is the sort of lesson that we are taught our whole lives, but few of us truly live it out. In addition, Chan encourages us to take a closer look at people, and be mindful of their true intentions in our lives, whether good or bad, and be on our God against those who may seek to harm us, or allow us to stray from our path with Christ.
