What Makes Us Special
The Avenue Church provides many different ways to get involved and develop and cultivate your relationship Christ. The provide a variety of small groups and avenues that provide greater intimacy within their community.
AC endeavors to make God and a more intentional spiritual walk a commitment for their members, instead of the less meaningful day-to-day experiences. Brown believes that that sort of commitment begins with the leadership, who can inspire people with their passion and by sharing their vision with their community.
The leadership at AC believe that it is not about them. Brown’s personal story involves overcoming the lust to be a successful pastor. By taking a step back, he was able to revitalize his familial relationships and allow the church to grow on its own. He believes that if the church cannot thrive without him on a daily basis, he is doing something wrong.
