Overview

Baptism is part of Christianity from the beginning as found in the Acts and the Epistle to Romans. Christians believe in Jesus and the Sacrament of Baptism. We try to glorify God faithful and true who has given us the Bible. We are a conservative God preaching the Bible and wining souls for the Church. We are trying in other ways to honor Him and we pray for our success. Our Senior Pastor Dr. Mike Rouse always says Not you; not me it our Lord Jesus Christgiving his Church a very specific list of what needs to be done here on Earth. He did this before leaving Earth and returning to his Father. We believe we need to go into the world to preach the gospel to every creature and that this is the most important directive of the Church. Jesus also said make me disciples of men?. Our vision is of a healthy growing and prosperous Church working hand-in-hand with others to bring about world evangelism. We believe you really cannot have one without the other. Baptism is in the name of the Father Son and Holy Spirit (after the Great Commission) however some baptize in Jesus’ name alone. Most Christians baptize infants and many others do not. Our vision is to continue growth of the Church its family and individual members. During the life of John the Baptist we see in scripture that there is use of a deep river for baptism by immersion. Visual and archaeological evidence suggests that Christian baptism from the Third Century was the standard form for candidates to enter the water to be baptized while water is poured over the torso. If we do this we will grow in faithful numbers and maturity.
